1. Purpose

FolioSignal uses AI-assisted tools to help photographers evaluate work, improve galleries, write business copy, understand leads, and prepare better client communication.

This notice explains how AI features work and what customers should understand before using them.

2. AI Features

AI-assisted features may include:

  • Photo scoring and qualification.
  • Gallery placement recommendations.
  • Replacement photo suggestions.
  • Growth path recommendations.
  • SEO copy and local keyword suggestions.
  • About page and service description drafts.
  • Tailored lead messages.
  • Client comment and edit request summaries.
  • Launch checklist review.
  • Campaign and audience suggestions.

3. Data Sent For AI Processing

Depending on the feature, FolioSignal may process:

  • Uploaded photos or lower-resolution versions.
  • Photo names, categories, job names, captions, and metadata.
  • Gallery slot descriptions and scoring rubrics.
  • Studio profile, service area, services, and best-client descriptions.
  • Lead behavior summaries and message history.
  • Client comments and edit requests.

FolioSignal should minimize unnecessary data sent to AI providers and avoid sending sensitive personal information unless required for the requested feature.

4. AI Providers

FolioSignal may use providers such as OpenAI. Provider terms, privacy commitments, data processing roles, and retention policies may apply.

OpenAI states for business/API offerings that customer business data is not used to train models by default unless the customer opts in. This should be confirmed against the active OpenAI account settings and terms before launch.

5. Human Review Required

AI outputs can be wrong, incomplete, biased, repetitive, unsuitable, or inappropriate for a particular client, market, law, brand, or campaign.

Photographers are responsible for reviewing and approving:

  • Public copy.
  • SEO text.
  • Client messages.
  • Gallery decisions.
  • Photo publishing.
  • Review publishing.
  • Campaign audiences.
  • Any business decision based on AI output.

6. No Guarantee Of Results

FolioSignal does not guarantee:

  • More bookings.
  • Higher search ranking.
  • Better conversion.
  • Better photography quality.
  • More revenue.
  • Client satisfaction.
  • Legal compliance of AI-generated text.

AI assists decisions; it does not replace professional judgment.

7. Photo Scoring Limits

Photo scores are internal recommendations based on FolioSignal’s scoring model and rubric. They are not universal artistic judgments and should not be represented as official certification, professional accreditation, or guaranteed market performance.

8. Customer Controls

FolioSignal should provide plan-based AI usage limits, image hash caching, re-score controls, and clear visibility into AI usage.

Customers should be able to avoid using AI features for sensitive projects or private galleries where appropriate.

9. Sensitive Content

Customers should not upload or process sensitive, illegal, confidential, or restricted content through AI tools unless they have the necessary rights, consents, and legal basis.

Extra care should be used for minors, private events, healthcare, schools, workplace confidentiality, legal proceedings, and restricted venues.
