Refund Policy

FolioSignal Refund Policy

Effective date: To be completed before launch

1. Overview

FolioSignal sells licensed software access, managed setup tools, hosted storefront services, AI-assisted workflow features, storage, and support.

This Refund Policy explains when payments may be refunded. It should be reviewed by an attorney before public launch and aligned with the final Stripe, PayPal, Apple, Google, and tax setup.

2. Trials

If a free or limited trial is offered, the trial is intended to let the customer evaluate FolioSignal before purchasing.

Trial limits may include reduced storage, limited AI scoring, limited publishing, disabled live integrations, and demo watermarks.

3. Subscription Fees

Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable after the billing period begins, except where required by law or where FolioSignal confirms a billing mistake.

Customers may cancel future renewals through the account or support process.

4. First Payment Courtesy Window

Recommended launch policy:

FolioSignal may offer a one-time courtesy refund for the first subscription payment if requested within 7 days of purchase and if the account has not published a live storefront, connected live payment processing, used substantial AI scoring, or used significant storage.

This courtesy policy can be changed before launch.

5. Setup, Launch, And Managed Services

Custom setup, migration, launch review, domain help, professional email setup, production configuration, consulting, and other labor-based services may be non-refundable once work begins.

If a setup service cannot be completed because the customer does not provide required information, credentials, approvals, rights, or third-party access, fees may not be refundable.

6. Third-Party Fees

Third-party fees are usually non-refundable by FolioSignal. These may include:

  • Domain registration.
  • Google Workspace or email provider charges.
  • Stripe, PayPal, Apple, Google, or processor fees.
  • App store fees.
  • Print-on-demand charges.
  • Ad platform spend.
  • Storage, hosting, or usage overages.

Stripe notes that payment processing fees from original transactions may not be returned when a refund is issued. PayPal, app stores, and other providers may have their own refund rules.

7. Chargebacks And Disputes

Customers should contact FolioSignal first so we can review the issue. Chargebacks, disputes, or payment reversals may result in account suspension, service interruption, or recovery of unpaid amounts.

8. How To Request A Refund

Send a request to support@thefoliosignal.com.

Include:

  • Account email.
  • Business name.
  • Payment date.
  • Reason for request.
  • Whether a storefront has been published.
  • Whether live integrations were connected.

9. Changes

FolioSignal may update this Refund Policy before or after launch. The policy in effect at the time of purchase generally applies, unless the change is required by law or more favorable to the customer.
